Sports Day
What a day ! The sun shone, the crowds cheered and the children gave 100%.
Our Amazing Playground Leaders
Well done to the children who have been chosen as playground leaders. They are now ready and equipped to deliver our playground games in September.
Fabulous French Day
We had a marvelous day , creating our own french menus and sampling some beautiful french food.

A day at secondary school - Chilton Trinity
Year 5 had an eye-opening day alongside other primary schools at Chilton Trinity School.
We tried lots of new things, including Welly Wanging !
Striking And Fielding Festival
Year 5 visited a local secondary school, Haygrove, and took part in a striking and fielding festival. We learnt skills to help us with Rounders and Cricket.
In Safe Hands !
Through our Jigsaw lessons we have been learning some First Aid skills.
Art-Collage
We have looked at work by Denise Fiedler and created our own collage animals in the same style.

Creativity Week
During creativity week we designed and made our own Eco-homes. We looked to improve our recycling efforts at home and presented an assembly to the school to make them aware of landfill and how to try and reduce waste.
Egyptian Workshop
Today we were archaeologists. We searched for Egyptian treasures in the sand. We made our own scarabs and learnt about some Egyptian beliefs. We baked our own date bread and tasted it. There were mixed reactions.
Ancient Greeks
Our class held an Ancient Greek day. We dressed up as Ancient Greeks. We held a Greek banquet and tried various types of Greek food. We looked at Greek customs and how they used to live.
Knowle Hall
We were really lucky to visit Knowle Hall. We worked alongside our Chinese Friends and took part in some Maths and Robotics challenges. We learnt a lot about each other. We made some great friends.
PE
We launched ourselves into the second half of our invasion games unit. It was cold outside but we kept ourselves warm with our first taste of our Tag Rugby.
World Book Day
We met a wide variety of characters on World Book Day. Can you work out who we were ?
