The form below will ask you to select a school location. If you would like to comment on more than one school, please complete and submit a separate form for each location.

Proposed changes

Northgate Primary School
The school proposes to adapt an existing classroom and external space to create an 8-place SEND provision for Key Stage 2 pupils.

Westover Green Primary School
The school proposes to change its current Resource Base to an Inclusion Base and refurbish a third classroom to increase the number of available places.

Willowdown Primary School
The school proposes to refurbish two currently unused classrooms to create two SEND classes, each with 8 places, for EYFS/KS1 and KS2 pupils.

This consultation forms part of the schools' application for these changes. The results will be submitted to the Department for Education (DfE) as part of the approval process.

Weather update

We are pleased to confirm that our school will reopen as normal tomorrow, following the recent closures due to extreme heat.

The forecast now shows temperatures returning to the mid‑20s and there is no current met office weather warning in place for this region, which allows a safe return to on-site learning.

We will continue to take sensible precautions in school to keep pupils safe, including:

ensuring regular access to drinking water
providing shade and limiting time in direct sun
adapting activities where needed
maintaining good ventilation in classrooms

You can support by ensuring your child brings a water bottle, and where appropriate, sun protection (e.g. hat and sunscreen).

The children can continue to wear their PE kit to school tomorrow to support with them keeping cool.

Thank you for your support during this period.
